| Access Control Access Control Systems protect your company assets allowing only certain employees, visitors and or vehicles to gain access into your company and complex.
Employees working alone after hours cause special concerns to upper management due to valuable company information that is left unprotected. Only selected employees will be allowed in certain company areas after hours and during normal business hours. Each employee must swipe an employee card or provide a access code (or both) for entry and exit from certain areas of your facility allowing for tracking and time stamping.
These access control systems eliminate the need for concern about lost or stolen master keys. Programmable cards can be cancelled in a keystroke - ensuring the ongoing security of your premises. You'll never need to change the locks again.
Adding new employees is a very easy and simple routine, and employees leaving the company will now just be canceled from the system, and denied access.
The Access System can produce reports and audit trails of all movement by employees and visitors throughout the building. Employees leaving the complex for any reason will be clocked in and out just by swiping there access control cards.
The Access Control System can also replace all timecards and be used as a bugler alarm system for all doors and windows throughout the facility. Any unauthorized entry will set off an alarm in the system; the system will dial a monitoring company that will in turn call the local police for support.
The Access Control Systems now have the capability to add live and recorded video to critical areas such as entrances and loading docks requiring all employees and visitors to press an intercom button for the doors to be opened. Therefore if receptionist does not recognize the person at the door, they can request a driver’s license identification before opening the door. This process can also be applied to road and parking lot entrances that can be controlled by gate access and card readers. Any employee or visitor must either have a access control card, pin number, or press the intercom button at the gate system to request entrance into the complex.
BIOMETERIC TECHNOLOGY FOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
The New Generation of Smart Devices in Biometrics for Access Control enhances building security, internal communications, and employee management, at a significantly lower total cost of ownership than previous biometric systems for physical access control systems due to technology upgrades and demands. Whether being used to access a building, secure restricted company locations within, or for time and attendance management, biometric authentication technology has come a long way. Just a few years ago, the debate surrounding biometrics was focused on whether biometrics were accurate and could handle large populations, among many other operational issues. Today, these arguments are closed: the focus now is on enhancing the value associated with accurate and secure biometric authentication.
Today, biometric security devices do much more than authentication: they also provide the right level of security, at the exact places needed, and are able to adjust dynamically the level of authentication necessary for ever-changing threat levels. These capabilities only increase in importance as modern physical access control systems also begin to converge with other building management and communication devices. To manage employees, visitors, and contractors better, and protect important areas -- executive floors, data centers, and research labs -- more companies are deploying physical security systems, video surveillance cameras, and time and attendance systems.
Visitor Management
Visitor Management functionality, delivers extensive visitor pre-registration and receptionist visitor management and will time stamp every visitor coming into and leaving your facility.
Managing the access of temporary visitors has historically been a time consuming, costly and error-prone process, potentially compromising site security. In many log-book based visitor management systems, receptionists receiving a sudden influx of visitors can be overloaded and miss vital steps in the process, or visitors overdue to leave a site may go unnoticed. More recently, many computer based visitor management systems have automated most visitor management tasks, but fail to fully integrate with a site’s existing security management system, leaving potential security gaps.
Our Visitor Management Systems deliver the next generation of visitor management functionality, providing a highly configurable, secure, and easy to use solution to a site’s visitor management needs. The visitor management system is a “bolt-on” module to our access control system through simple software upgrades.
